Abstract
The Consumer Electronics Linux Forum (CELF) promoted the advancement of Linux as an open source platform for consumer electronics (CE) devices. The CELF acted as a place to discuss various issues of the CE industry. The CELF also evaluated any open source submissions as to their effectiveness and responsiveness to the requirements. *Merged with the Linux Foundation in 2010
